Wasteland Weekend
Great news for this year’s Wasteland Weekend Costume Contest! The replica category is BACK! If you’ve got new costumes from “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga,” or costumes from previous Mad Max films, the Fallout franchise (in-theme, of course) or any other appropriate existing post-apocalyptic franchises, AND your look represents something from those films (and not your own interpretation)- then the replica category is for you!
For 2025, all four of our judges also have the ability to give out a Judge’s Choice award for something that really catches their eye. That’s 10 prizes total!
And what are the prizes you ask? Well, get ready…
Thanks to our friends at the legendary Stan Winston School, we have some awesome prizes to give away to the winners!
1st place winners will receive a one year unlimited Stan Winston School subscriptions! (Go to their website to see just how cool of a prize this is!)
2nd place winners will receive 6-month subscriptions and the third place winners will get 3-month subscriptions! (Total retail value of prizes $2,820!)
And finally, Judge’s Choice winners get 2-month unlimited subscriptions.
Be in your costume at Main Stage by 7pm on Saturday, September 27th to enter the contest!
As a reminder, everyone entering the contest must follow the official theme & costume guidelines for the event.
