Wasteland Weekend
The only post-apocalyptic film festival that takes place IN the wasteland!
Screen short films from around the world as they compete for the coveted withered laurel.
Applications open on June 10th. You’ll be able to submit via the website here.
The Wasteland Film Festival highlight short films with especially post-apocalyptic subject matter and, in addition, alternative films displaying a certain character right at home in the post nuke society. Films meeting certain criteria will be screened as part of the competition, others will simply be for exhibition.
They also screen select features, if they fit in one of the categories.
Awards & Prizes
Money will be divided among the winners (Post Apoc Grand Prize, Post Apoc Runner Up, Best Animated Film, Best Music Video, Best Atmospheric/Weird Film, and if enough entries for it, Best Genre Action Film). Extra award money might be added as we move closer to the festival.
Our film fest tent is now equipped with wireless headphones so all audience members can hear clearly and choose their own volume!
