Wasteland Weekend
One of the many optional things you can do while visiting Wasteland Weekend is engaging in missions / LARP; live-action role play. There are dozens of Tribes (theme camps) who host various missions and role play elements for attendees. There are bounty hunters and supply runs, there are treasure hunts and even (unofficial) elections that are all part of the LARP / missions / quests.
All of this is OPTIONAL. Meaning you do not have to participate in any of the LARP, missions, or lore-related quests at the event. (You do of course have to be in an appropriately themed costume, though.)
